This is how to add Habit to your phone as an app.
Instructions for iPhone Users
If you’re using an iPhone, follow these steps:
- Open Safari (yes, only Safari works for this—Apple rules, not mine).
- Go to Habit.am: Go to
habit.amin Safari – you can type it in the URL bar. - Tap the Share Icon: Once you’re on the Habit website, press the Share Icon: It’s that little square with an arrow pointing up at the bottom of your screen.

- Scroll Down and Tap “Add to Home Screen”: This option is hiding in the menu—scroll until you find it.
- Name It Whatever You Want: You can keep it as “Habit” or rename it something fun.
- Tap “Add”: Boom! Habit is now on your home screen, looking all official like a real app.
Now, every time you tap the icon, Habit will open directly—no browser tabs or distractions. If you are logged in, you’ll stay logged in, too.
Instructions for Android Users
Android users, you’ve got options depending on your browser. Here’s how to do it using Chrome:
- Open Chrome: Launch Chrome and head over to
habit.am. - Tap the Three Dots (Menu): In the top-right corner of Chrome, tap those three little dots.
- Select “Add to Home Screen”: From the dropdown menu, pick this option.
- Choose a Name: Call it “Habit” or whatever sparks joy for you.
- Tap “Add”: Habit will now live on your home screen as an app-like icon!
When you tap it, Habit will open in its own window without all the browser clutter—just pure intuition-building vibes.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If you don’t see the “Add to Home Screen” option:
- On iPhone: Make sure you’re using Safari (not Chrome or any other browser).
- On Android: Ensure you’re using Chrome or another browser that supports this feature (like Edge).
- If something isn’t working right:
- Refresh the page before trying again.
- Check your phone’s software is up-to-date.
And that’s it!
